Reporting an Outage:
When
Following a power interruption, check your main circuit panel for a tripped breaker or blown fuse. Contact your neighbors to see if they have power. Report immediately if you believe the trouble is on the REA lines.
WHAT
When reporting an outage or emergency, be prepared to furnish the account holder's name, telephone number, and a description of the problem. You may also be asked for the address or meter number of the location in need of service.
If a member of your household depends on medical equipment for life support, notify the REA office at once; do not wait for an emergency.
